OFF TO UNIVERSITY IN A JUCY CONVOY

Going off to Uni is sometimes stressful and emotional, leaving family and familiar territory behind, and launching into a whole new world and friendship cohort.

But one lucky group of students got to make friends along the way, pack as much as they wanted to take with them to Uni with no luggage restrictions, and have some fun on the road to tertiary education, thanks to JUCY Group in New Zealand.

Over five days, they made their way from the South Island to Auckland in the north; having fun, setting their own pace, and seeing so much of the countryside they would have missed if flying, camping as a group each evening.

“We partnered with StudentCard to organize the ultimate road trip for students. The StudentCard & JUCY Road to O-Week Convoy was one last hurrah before the students headed back to university. The five-day road trip from Christchurch to Auckland was great fun, allowing us to explore the country with an amazing group of people who were experiencing some of what NZ has to offer for the first time,” said Lauren Sanderson, the Social Media & Content Manager, for JUCY Group.

“From seeing seals in Kaikoura to experiencing the ferry crossing to Wellington, there were many firsts for everyone. This was a wonderful project to be a part of, and I’m so happy that JUCY could provide the vehicles to make this happen,” Lauren added.

“When JUCY approached StudentCard to discuss the idea of having students hop in their campervans and drive across the country, I was instantly drawn to the idea. Looking to end the summer break with a bang, before the new study year, so was born the 'StudentCard and JUCY Road to O-Week Convoy',” commented Daisy Fletcher, Sales and Marketing Manager for StudentCard.

xceptional group of individuals joined us for an unforgettable roadie. We were thoroughly impressed with everyone's kind nature, collaboration with one another, and enthusiasm to give everything a go (not to mention their exceptional driving and reversing skills in the vans!),” she concluded.

The students documented their adventures with daily reels on socials:
